There has been a rise in the need for Low-Power Wide-Area network (LPWAN) service, specifically for machine-to-machine type communication and IoT. LPWAN technology lets IoT devices operate for up to 10 years on a single battery charge. This technology is suitable for solutions with limited mobility and no reliable power source for recharging. LPWAN technologies are perfect for smart meters, smart city, track and trace, smart agriculture, and smart building applications, among others.
On September 8th, 2021, Tartabit announced its two new services Marketplace Accelerator (MPA) and the Plug and Play Accelerator (PnPA). These services are aimed to simplify the onboarding process of LPWAN devices to Microsoft Azure, IoT Hub and other Azure Services. This announcement of the MPA and PnPA services within the Azure Marketplace further demonstrates the market’s adoption of the LPWAN technology and also Tartabit’s goal of making IoT services user friendly and easy to implement.
Tartabit claims that it takes only two weeks from the receipt of the pre-requisite device information from the subscriber to deliver a purpose-built, low-code, IoT Bridge Solution Template via its MPA service.
